  • Security Guidelines
    Publishing Date 2025-10-09 14:29:17
Your fund security is our shared responsibility! Please strictly follow the security guidelines below:1. Official Channels – Beware of Imitation● Consult only through official channels: For all inquiries, feedback, or support requests, always use the “Customer Service” feature embedded in the official UU Wallet app or the contact information (e.g., email, phone number) explicitly listed on the official UU Wallet website (please verify the website address carefully).● Be cautious of non-official contacts: Never trust anyone claiming to be “UU Wallet official customer service,” “technical support,” or “security center” staff who proactively contact you via phone calls, SMS, social media (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.), or emails (not listed on the official website). Official staff will never ask for your password, verification codes, or request that you transfer funds.● Verify authenticity of information: For any messages claiming to be from UU Wallet (e.g., upgrade notifications, promotional rewards, account anomaly alerts), always verify through the in-app customer service or official website. Do not click unknown links or scan QR codes from unverified sources.2. Password Security – A Top Priority● Set strong, unique passwords: Create high-strength, unique passwords for your UU Wallet login and transaction passwords. We recommend using a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, with a minimum length of 8 characters. Avoid using easily guessable passwords such as birthdays, names, phone numbers, or repetitive/sequential characters.● Keep passwords strictly confidential: Never disclose your login password, transaction password, payment password, or SMS/email verification codes to anyone, including individuals claiming to be “official customer service.” UU Wallet staff will never ask for these details.● Update passwords regularly: Develop a habit of changing your login and transaction passwords periodically (e.g., every 3–6 months). If you suspect your password may have been compromised, update it immediately.● Enable additional verification: We strongly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or other multi-layered security methods, where supported, to add extra protection to your account.3. Transaction Verification – Trust What You See● On-chain confirmation is the only proof: The only reliable confirmation of a completed transaction is the blockchain network verification and the actual reflection of the transferred amount in your UU Wallet account balance. Screenshots of transfers, payment success pages, email notifications, or chat records cannot be considered as valid proof of funds being received.● Double-check recipient information: Before initiating any transfer, carefully and repeatedly verify the recipient's wallet address (we recommend copying and pasting, then checking the first and last few characters) and ensure the correct transfer network (e.g., ERC-20, BEP-20, TRC-20). Funds sent to an incorrect address or network are highly unlikely to be recovered.● Beware of “delayed deposit” scams: If a counterparty claims that “the transfer is made but will be credited later,” or provides screenshots as proof and requests you to deliver goods or proceed with the next step, treat it as a scam. Always check the transaction status directly on a blockchain explorer and confirm the balance update in your wallet before proceeding.● Conduct small test transfers: Before sending a large amount to an unfamiliar address, it is recommended to first make a small test transfer. Confirm that both the address and network are correct and that the recipient has received the funds before proceeding with a larger transaction.4. Device and Environment Security● Protect your devices: Ensure that the operating systems and antivirus software on the devices (mobile or PC) used for UU Wallet are always up-to-date. Only download the UU Wallet app from official sources, such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or the official UU Wallet website.● Be cautious with public networks: Avoid logging in or performing transactions over public Wi-Fi or unsecured networks to prevent data interception. Use a trusted VPN if necessary.● Prevent malware threats: Do not click on unknown links, download files from unverified sources, or install suspicious apps to avoid malware, keyloggers, or trojans that could steal your wallet information.● Physical security: Keep your devices safe and protected with a screen lock. Before disposing of or selling old devices, ensure that all data is permanently erased.UU Wallet’s Solemn Commitment:We are fully committed to safeguarding the security of your assets. Our staff will never proactively contact you via phone calls, SMS, social media, or any non-official channels to request your password, verification codes, or ask you to transfer funds. We will never require you to provide your account password for any “account verification,” “security upgrades,” or “unfreezing operations.”If you encounter suspicious activity or suspected fraud:● Stop all actions immediately. Do not click on links, scan QR codes, or transfer funds.● Report and verify with us right away through the in-app customer service of UU Wallet or the official verified channels.Security is no small matter – proceed with caution! UU Wallet will stand by your side to protect every piece of your digital asset.
